Soma Pourmohammadi, a Kurdish language teacher, was sentenced to 10 years in prison and exile

According to the reports received, Soma Pourmohammadi, a member of the board of directors of Nozhin Cultural and Social Association, a Kurdish language teacher and a native of Sanandaj, was sentenced to 10 years by the Revolution Court of this city headed by Judge "Karmi" on charges of "forming gangs and groups, intending to disturb the security of the country".
He was sentenced to imprisonment and exile to the central prison of Kermanshah.
The court hearing on Ms. Pourmohammadi's accusations was held on April 17, 2024, at the Sanandaj Revolution Court branch, and the verdict was delivered to her on Saturday, April 20, 2024.
According to the received reports, she was previously sentenced to one year of suspended imprisonment by the 106th branch of Sanandaj Criminal Court on the charge of "disturbance of public order".
It should be remembered that Soma pourMohammadi had gone to Sanandaj Revolutionary Court to pursue the case of her husband "Idris Manbari" on January 18, 2023, she was arrested by the security forces and finally she was temporarily released after posting a bond of one billion Tomans.
