A Kurdish businessman killed by border regiment fire

Colleagues of Hana Human Rights Organization reported that a Kurdish businessman from Baneh was killed by direct fire from the forces of the border regiment.
According to this report, on Tuesday "May 14, 2024", a 24-year-old businessman with the identity of "Moin Tawfiqpour", the son of Mohammad, married and from the village of "Choman" in Baneh, while driving, by the forces of the Border Regiment on the border of Choman, with Kalashnikov weapon, was shot and killed.
An informed source added: Border regiment forces shot at this businessman's car without prior warning and on the suspicion of carrying contraband.
It should be noted that the body of this young businessman is in Salahuddin Ayubi hospital and has not been handed over to his family yet.
