Armita Gravand, a 16-year-old student from Kermanshah and a resident of Tehran, at 7:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 1, 2023, while going to school in the Shoheda Square metro station, was attacked by a woman wearing a veil "affiliated with the headquarters of the famous Tehran Municipality Basij" because of an optional hijab, and thrown Armita back, her head hit the edge of the train and then she collapsed, she was bleeding, and then she fainted.
It should be noted that after 40 minutes, Armita was transferred to Tehran's Fajr Hospital and is currently under strict security surveillance, and this issue has caused widespread reactions among social media users.
