Kurdish artist Hasan Kakai was arrested by security forces in Bukan

Hana: On Saturday, March 23, 2024, a Kurdish artist with the identity of "Hasan Kakai" from Bukan, was arrested by the security forces after singing the epic hymn "O Watan" at the Nowruz ceremony in the village of "Ali Kand" in Bukan.
According to the reports received by Hana Human Rights Organization; The security forces raided the personal house of this artist without presenting legal documents and arrested him along with beating him.
According to a source, Mr. Kakai was severely beaten in the Bukan Intelligence Detention Center, and then he was released on Sunday, March 24, 2024, after the interrogation process was completed.
