Hana condemns the assassination plan of Sima Sabit and Fardad Farahzad

ITV network based in UK, revealed the plan of assassinate two senior presenters of Iran International. According to the ITV report, in October 2022, the IRGC offered a human trafficker to kill Sima Sabit and Fardad Farahzad, the senior presenters of Iran International, with a knife in exchange for $200,000, but the hired person, who was a bilateral spy, exposed this plot. This conspiracy was directed by the Revolutionary Guards from inside Syria, and a person named Mohammad Reza Ansari, one of the commanders of the Revolutionary Guards, designed it.
The government of the Islamic Republic of Iran is trying to silence the voices of journalists inside the country through threats, intimidation, imprisonment, torture, and censorship, and in this regard, it is planning to assassinate journalists and political opponents abroad, and this is not the first time. that the Islamic Republic of Iran has attempted to assassinate and kidnap its political opponents abroad through the Revolutionary Guards and its proxies, and it has many serious cases in this regard.
Hana human rights organization, while condemning the assassination plan of Sima Sabit and Fardad Farahzad, considers the appeasement of the democratic governments in dealing with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps to the detriment of democracy and freedom of expression and demands that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps be included in the list of terrorist groups in order to limit the activities of this terrorist organization.
