According to Hana Human Rights Organization: , on Saturday, March 16, 2024, Shoaib Zarei, a Peshmerga and a member of Komala Party of Iranian Kurdistan, was assassinated by agents of the Islamic Republic of Iran, near the "Zargoiz" camp, by using a pistol and shooting him in the head.
Shoaib Zarei is 34 years old from the village of "Takhtah" in Sanandaj, and he was a peshmerga of Komala Party of Iranian Kurdistan for more than 10 years.
  Komala Party of Iranian Kurdistan in a statement attributed the assassination of this member to the Islamic Republic and wants the government of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region to stop the Islamic Republic's assassination machine.
