Armita Gravand, a 17-year-old student from Kermanshah and a resident of Tehran, at 7:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 1, 2023, while going to school in the Shohada Square metro station, because of not wearing a hijab, she was attacked by morality police, "affiliated to the headquarters of Amr Marouf and Basij of Tehran Municipality." Armita was thrown back, her head hit the edge of the train and started bleeding, after that she fainted . After 40 minutes, Armita was transferred by ambulance to Fajr Hospital in Tehran, and after 28 days of hospitalization in the intensive care unit in Fajr hospital, she died. of Fajar Hospital.
