Arresting and transferring six Kurdish citizens to Naqadeh prison to serve their prison sentences

Hana: On Wednesday, April 24, 2024, six Kurdish citizens from Piranshahr were arrested and transferred to Naqadeh prison to execute the prison sentence.

The identity of these citizens was verified for Hana Human Rights Organization as "Hiva Mahmoudi, Ismail Tejala, Alireza Mohammadi Arshad, Aram Khalidi Nasab, Mohammad (Diako) Ebrahimi and Ehsan Golabi" from Pasweh village of Piranshahr.
The hearing on the accusations of these people was held in December 2022, in Branch 102 of the Piranshahr Criminal Court, and they were sentenced to prison.
Based on the reports received; Ehsan Golabi and Mohammad Reza Ebrahimi were sentenced to 14 years in prison each on charges of "membership in one of the Kurdish opposition parties of the Iranian government, assembly and collusion against the country's security, propaganda against the regime, and filming from government places."
Esmail Tejala, Aram Khalidi Nesab and Alireza Mohammadi Arshad were sentenced to six years and 11 months in prison each on charges of "membership in one of the Kurdish opposition parties of the Iranian government, propaganda against the system and society, and collusion against the country's security."
Hiva Mahmoudi has also been sentenced to two years in prison on the charge of "conspiring against the security of the country".
It should be remembered that these citizens were arrested in Piranshahr by the security forces in October 2022 and then transferred to a security detention center in Orumiyeh for interrogation, and after the interrogation process was completed, they were transferred to Naqadeh prison and finally on October 30, 2022, they were temporarily released on bail.
