Execution of a prisoner from Selmas in Ardabil prison

According to the reports received by Hana Human Rights Organization; At dawn Monday, February 19, 2024, a Kurdish prisoner with the identity of "Iraj Paki", the son of Haj Tabrizi, from Setonaresh village, Shapiran district of Selmas city, was executed in Ardabil prison.
It is necessary to remember that about 6 years ago, he was arrested for drug-related crimes and sentenced to death by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
