Raisi canceled his trip to Switzerland for fear of arrest

Ebrahim Raeesi, the president of the Islamic Republic of Iran, canceled his trip due to the fear of the warrant of arrest and prosecution by the Swiss police.

According to the schedule announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Raisi was supposed to give a speech at the annual meeting of the United Nations Human Rights Council at the venue of the meeting in Geneva, Switzerland, who had faced complaints from several human rights organizations, including the two Kurdish Human rights organizations, Hana and  Zagros Human Rights Group, as well as several well known figures.
According to published news, after Raisi canceled his trip, which was very likely to face his arrest, Amirhassan Abdolhayan the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran was assigned to carry out this trip.
The timely reaction of human rights organizations and human rights activists, including several survivors of the 1988 massacre, and the filing of a complaint against him, prevented him from making this trip.
