Complaints of two human rights organizations against the President of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi

The Islamic President of Iran is going to travel to Geneva on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 to give a speech at a meeting. Many attempts have been made to organize demonstrations in front of his venue, but so far efforts have been futile. Meanwhile, today, on behalf of Zagros Human Rights Organization and Hana Human Rights Organization, we filed a complaint against Ebrahim Raisi for being involved in crimes against humanity.

The complaint is based on articles 264a, 264b, 264c and 264d of the Swiss Criminal Code against persons involved in crimes against humanity inside or outside Switzerland. We do not yet know whether the court will accept the complaint, but we have taken the first legal action against the high-ranking officials who traveled to Switzerland. We will keep you posted on the next steps.
