Mahdi Asgharzadeh, a prisoner of conscience, went on hunger strike at Dizilabad prison

According to the reports received from a source informed by Hana Human Rights Organization: A prisoner of conscience with the identity of "Mehdi Asgharzadeh" is on the fourth day of his hunger strike in Dizilabad Prison, Kermanshah.
An informed source in a conversation with Hana added; Mehdi Asgharzadeh was beaten due to a conflict with the prison authorities for protesting the conditions of prisoners of conscience and was transferred to the solitary cell of the Dizilabad prison in Kermanshah.
Mehdi Asgharzadeh is the son of Abdul Karim and from Javanrud.
It should be mentioned that in August 2016, in an armed conflict between the Revolutionary Guards and a group that the government forces referred to as Daesh(ISIS), he was arrested and sentenced to death.
