Two citizens were arrested by security forces in Mahabad

According to the reports received by Hana Human Rights Organization; In Tuesday morning, January 9, 2024, two citizens named "Siamand Mina" from the village of "Gardebardan" and "Karim Sangri", married and father of three children from the village of "Qaraghshlaq" in Mahabad, were arrested by the government forces and They were taken to an unknown place.
An informed source in a conversation with Hana added that the security forces raided the private homes of these two citizens at 3:05 AM without presenting a warrant and arrested them by beating them.
This source also added that the security forces searched the house and confiscated some personal belongings of Siamand Mina and his family.
Until the moment of publication of this news, there is no information about the charges and the whereabouts of these citizens.
