An execution took place in Ilam's central prison

The colleagues of Hana Human Rights Organization in Ilam reported the execution of a prisoner from Ilam who was previously arrested on the charge of "intentional murder" and sentenced to death by the judiciary of the Islamic Republic.
According to this report, at dawn on Saturday, January 16, 2024, the death sentence of a prisoner identified as "Mohsen Mehri", the son of Gholam Ali and a native of Ilam, was implemented in the central prison of this city.
It should be noted that from Thursday, January 11, to January 16, 2024, at least 10 Kurdish prisoners were executed in various prisons of the Islamic Republic.
