First and last meeting the families of four Kurdish political prisoners after nineteen months

On Sunday, the January 28, 2024, after 19 months of no news, the families of four Kurdish political prisoners, the worried, pleading and distraught mothers and fathers were allowed to visit, and saw their children alive. The first news was promising, they saw and understood that their children are alive after more than a year and a half of enforced disappearance. The second news was painful and catastrophic, they have been told that this will be their first and last meeting.
In this short meeting, four young men, four Kurdish political prisoners announced their will to the family and emphasized that this is the last meeting.
