Hana took part in a conference in Florence, Italy on October 10

On Tuesday, October 10, 2023, the Iranian Research Council held a conference entitled "The Right to Life and the Death Penalty in Iran: The Role and Responsibility of the International Community" in Florence, Italy.
The seminar consisted of two parts, the morning for Persian speeches and the afternoon for English and Italian speeches.
Participants such as human rights individuals and organizations; They presented their reports and research to the organizers, the audience, and the audience submitted questions or comments.
The program began with an introduction to the conference by journalist Ahmad Rafat.
Hossein Lajevardi, president of the Iranian Council of Researchers, then opened the conference.
Professor Mohammad Amiri Moqadam also presented the annual report of the Iranian Human Rights Organization.
In the continuation of the program, several personalities and parties presented their speeches to the audience.

The president of the provincial council of Tuscany, the president of the city council of Florence, Professor Javid Rahman, the UN human rights rapporteur on Iran, and several other dignitaries delivered speeches.
It is worth mentioning that in the morning panel of the conference, Fazel Walian, representative of Hana Human Rights Organization, presented the report of the organization.
Representative of Hana Organization : began his report with the name and memory of Zhina Amini and wished health and salvation for Armita Graoand.
The report says that the Islamic Republic has changed all its powers such as the ruler of Sharia, the head of the judiciary and the president, but the number of executions and murders has never decreased. Furthermore, the statistics of the dead and injured peasants and executions in Kurdistan were presented by the statistics department of Hana Organization.
Hana's representative at the conference referred to the Kurdish youth Samaan Mohammadi Khayara who was in quarantine for execution and called on the parties to make efforts for his release – who was unfortunately executed at the same time as this report.
In another part of his speech, Fazel Walian referred to another Kurdish youth named Mohammad, who had been detained and tortured by the Kermanshah Intelligence Department for some time, and who died suspiciously two days ago after being released.
At the end of his report, questions were asked by several participants. In response to one of the questions, the representative of Hana Human Rights Organization said that to prove the identity and personality of the executed or anyone who is being violated; Information should be obtained from human rights organizations such as Hana that work locally and regionally.
