Yousef Bekri, a citizen of Mahabad, was sentenced to 40 months in prison

According to the reports received by Hana Human Rights Organization: In recent days, Yousef Bakri, a citizen of Mahabad, was sentenced to three years and four months in prison by the first branch of the Mahabad Revolutionary Court on the charge of "collaborating with one of the Kurdistan opposition parties of the Iranian government and participating in nationwide protests."
Yusuf Bekri was arrested by the security forces on July 12, 2023 and was transferred to one of Orumieh's security detention centers for interrogation, and after the interrogation, he was transferred to Mahabad Central Prison.
It should be noted that this Kurdish citizen was deprived of any human rights during his detention and is currently in the central prison of Mahabad.
