Risk of deportation of 4 political and human rights activists by Turkey
04:21 - 17/12/2022
According to the reports received by Hana Human Rights Organization, around 100 refugees were arrested by the Turkish police at the border of Marmaris while leaving Turkey and transferred to the deportation center, among them there are four political and human rights activists.
Among those arrested are "Nasser Kamangar and Arzoo Molanaei", who have several years of activity in the field of human rights, especially in the field of defending the rights of asylum seekers and refugees, and two Kurdish political activists named Hossein Manbari and Sheogar Mohammadi.
Considering the history of the deportation of political and human rights activists from Turkey to Iran, we as the human rights organization Hana express our deep concern and ask all human rights organizations and institutions to do their best to prevent the deportation of asylum seekers to Iran.
