According to the reports received by Hana Human Rights Organization: on Friday, May 19, 2023, an environmental activist with the identity of "Mohammed Karimi", the head of the "Chero" environmental organization from Ravansar, was killed by unknown people.
According to an informed source; When the person entered to mediate in a street brawl, he was hit by a machete in the area of the main artery, and after a few hours, he died in one of Ravansar's psychiatric clinics.
Also, this source added in the continuation of the conversation with Hana; that after Mohammad Karimi was killed, the people who killed him ran away.
Mohammad Karimi was a firefighter, environmental activist, and one of the main founders of "Cheru" Association, as well as one of the famous champions and trainers in martial arts, in Ravansar.
