Opening a new case against "Soheila Hijab" a Kurdish activist

Hana; Despite the fact that several years have passed since the imprisonment of "Soheila Hijab", a Kurdish activist from Kermanshah, under the most severe physical and mental conditions, a new case has been filed against her by the security agencies, in which new charges have been brought against her and she will be summoned to the court again in the next few days.
Soheila Hijab, a lawyer and human rights defender, was arrested in June 2019 and then sentenced to 18 years in prison by Branch 28 of Tehran Revolution Court on the charge of "propaganda against the regime, community and collusion, disturbing public recognition with the intention of rioting and forming an illegal group" which five years in prison is the maximum enforceable penalty.
