Urmiah Central Prison/ End of political prisoner Shaker Behrooz's strike

According to a report received from colleagues of the Hana Human Rights Organization, "Shaker Behrooz", a Kurdish political prisoner sentenced to death in Urmiah Central Prison, ended his hunger strike.
Shaker Behrooz went on a hunger strike on March 31, 2022, to protest his transfer to Ward 2 of Urmiah Prison, which is the ward of the murderers. He was returned to the political ward of this prison.
Shaker Behrouz, a native of Urmiah, was arrested by the intelligence forces in early March 2019 on charges of membership in the Komala Party of Iranian Kurdistan, and was sentenced to death by the Revolutionary Court of this city.
