Saqez court sentences three Kurdish citizens to prison and fine them for propaganda against the regime

Hana: On April 27, 2022 a hearing was held on the case of four citizens of Saqqez, entitled '' 1: Mohammad Salimi, son of Abdullah, 2: Zamaneh Zivi, daughter of Ahmad; 3; Meqdad Hassannejad son of Saleh, 4; Kawah Rashidzadeh s8on of Hassan, Who were detained by the intelligence service were held in the Saqez court.

 

The verdicts of these citizens on charges of propaganda against the regime in the court session were issued by Javad Mostafaei, the head of the first branch of the Islamic Revolutionary Tribunal of Saqez, as follows:
1: Meqdad Hassannejad was sentenced to 6 months imprisonment, but This sentence was reduced to a fine of 6 million Tomans by the court due to his been youth.
2: Zamaneh Zivi, 10 months imprisonment
3: Mohammad Salimi was sentenced to 11 months imprisonment
4. Kaveh Rashidzadeh: He was acquitted by the court for failing to substantiate the information administration's charges.

Zamaneh Zivi Law expert, Meqdad Hassan Nejad, artist and Kaveh Rashid Nejad, Zaman Zivi,s husband were arrested on 
january 29, 2022, 2010. Kaveh was temporarily released on bail after two weeks of detention. Meghdad Hassannejad and Zamaneh Zivieh were temporarily released after one month of detention on bail of 300 million Tomans for each.

Mohammad Salimi was arrested by the intelligence forces on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, and spent a period of two months in detention, after which he was released temporary on bail.

It should be noted that all of these citizens were arrested without a court order on charges of membership in a Kurdistan Party and propaganda against the system, although they were denied the right to a lawyer and visitation while in detention, but the court failed to prove the charges regarding the membership of any of these citizens in the Kurdish parties and issued their sentences on charges of propaganda against the regime.
