212 Kolbers were killed and wounded in 2021
Hana: At the end of this year, the Statistics Center of the Hana Human Rights Organization will collect data and statistics related to human rights incidents and events in all four provinces of Iranian Kurdistan. This statistic has been prepared with the utmost efforts of Hana's colleagues, and certainly due to the existence of suffocation and censorship in Iran, it can not cover all events, happenings and lawlessness.
In this section, the Statistics Center of the Hana Human Rights Organization presents the statistics of Kurdish border porter known as Kolbers casualties in the year 2021 in different regions of Kurdistan provinces, which are registered in this statistic center.
According to this statistic, in the year 2021, a total of 212 Kolbers were killed and injured during Kolbery.
All of the killed and wounded are male.
Out of 212 people, 64 were killed and 148 injured, which are as follows:
36 Kolbers - Killed - by direct firing by the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran
14 Kolbers - Killed - by Natural disasters (cold, frostbite, falling from heights)
12 Kolbers - Killed - by car accident
2 Kolbers - Killed - Beaten by the Armed Forces
110 Kolbers - Wounded - by Direct fire by the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran
17 Kolbers - Injured - by car accident
11 Kolbers - Wounded - Beaten by the Armed Forces
7 Kolbers - Injured - by Natural disasters (cold and frost, falling from heights)
3 Kolbers - Injured - by Mine blast
The highest number of casualties (killed and injured) in the past year is related to the cities and urban villages which the names are as follows:
Banah 60 People. 28.3%
Pawah 26 People 12.3%
Marivan 22 People. 10.4%
Thalas Babajani 17 people 8%
Sardasht 17 people 8%
Piranshahr 13 people 6.1%
Orumieh 12 people 5.7%
Saqqez 9 People. 4.2%
Chaldoran 7 People. 3.3%
Salmas. 5 people 2.4%
Bukan. 3 People. 1.4%
Khoi. 3 People. 1.4%
Ravansar 3 People. 1.4%
Kamyaran 2 people .9%
Kulbari is the phenomenon of systematic poverty and unemployment in Kurdistan, and people are forced to seek refuge in Kulbari, while government officials are not making any effort to solve the livelihood problems of the People of Kurdistan, and the killing of Kulbars has become common news, and this is a dangerous alarm for the people of Kurdistan.Police forces, revolutionary guards, or Border Guards directly shoot Kolbars and kill or injure a number of people a day.
