2 Kurdish citizen sentenced to prison

Hana: On Saturday, July 24, 2021, a Kurdish citizen was sentenced to nine years in prison.

 

The identity of this citizen is "Saman Karimi" from "Baneh" city.

According to the reports received, on November 8, 2018, he was arrested in Tapping Sulaiman Bag, Baneh, by IRGC intelligence, who was sentenced to four years in prison on the basis of a court order on charges of assembly and collusion against the security of the country, for membership in a Kurdish opposition party of the regime, four years imprisonment, and one year for allegedly propaganda against the Islamic Republic.

Another Kurdish citizen was also sentenced to two years in prison.

The identity of this Kurdish citizen "Salah Bahramian" from the village of "Gandvila" has been mentioned in the city of "Oshnoyeh".

According to reports received; He was arrested by security forces in April of this year, and on Saturday, July 24, 2021, by the First Branch of the Revolutionary Court in the city of Oshnoyeh, on charges of collaborating with a Kurdish opposition party of the Islamic Republic by "Judge Rezaei" has been sentenced to two years  prison.

Membership in political parties and activities is one of the most basic human rights, which is considered a crime in Iranian Kurdistan.
