The arrest of a citizen by security forces in Bukan

According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Sunday, November 24, 2024, a Kurdish citizen identified as “Hiwa Behin,” a resident of Bukan, was arrested by security forces.
According to Hana sources, Mr. Behin was summoned to the Intelligence Unit of the Revolutionary Guard (IRGC), arrested, and then transferred to a security detention center in Orumiyeh.
According to an informed source, despite the family’s efforts to inquire about the reason for his arrest, security authorities have not provided any response so far, and his right to visit with his family has been denied.
