Sosan Hassan Zadeh was sentenced to three months in prison.

According to the Hana Human Rights Organization, Sosan Hassan Zadeh, a civil activist and Kurdish language teacher from Bukan, was sentenced to three months of imprisonment by Branch 101 of the Criminal Court of this city on the charge of “propaganda against the regime.”
The issued verdict was communicated to Mrs. Hassan Zadeh on Thursday, October 10, 2024. Sosan Hassan Zadeh was arrested on May 15, 2024, without judicial documentation and with the use of force by security forces. She was then transferred to one of the security detention centers in Orumiyeh and was released on bail of 800 million tomans on June 11, 2024.
It is worth noting that during her detention, Mrs. Hassan Zadeh had only one brief phone call.
