Saleh Nikbakht, lawyer for Zhina Amini's family, was sentenced to imprisonment and banned from working in cyberspace

Hana: On Saturday, October 17, 2023, Saleh Nikbakht, the lawyer of the family of "Zhina/ Mahsa Amini", was sentenced to one year in prison by Branch 28 of Tehran Revolutionary Court, presided over by Judge Mohammad Reza Amozad, has been sentenced to one year in prison for "propaganda against the state" and two years of prohibition on cyberspace.
The verdict issued on Tuesday was communicated to Mr. Nikbakht's lawyer.
Saleh Nikbakht, a 73-year-old lawyer from Saqqez, was summoned on Saturday March 11, 2023, to the 2nd Investigation Branch of the General and Revolutionary Prosecutor's Office of the 33rd District of "Moqds" in Tehran, and was charged with "propaganda against the regime" and then he was released on bail.
