Amjad Bakhtiari, a teacher from Dehgolan, has been sentenced to imprisonment and flogging.

According to reports from Hana colleagues, Amjad Bakhtiari, a teacher from Dehgolan, was sentenced by Branch 102 of the Criminal Court Two of this city to one year in prison and 74 lashes on charges of "disrupting public order and propaganda against the regime." The issued sentence has been suspended for two years.
Mr. Bakhtiari was previously summoned and threatened by the Dehgolan Intelligence Department for meeting with the families of the victims of the #Jina revolution. He was also faced with the suspension of the teachers' ranking system by the Administrative Violations Investigation Committee of Kurdistan province on charges of "participating in protests and insulting the leader of the Islamic Republic."
Amjad Bakhtiari was arrested by security forces at dawn on Monday, October 3, 2022, during the revolutionary movement #Women_Life_Freedom and was temporarily released on bail in November of the same year.
