Mehrshad Almasi was killed by police gunfire.

Hana: On Tuesday, October 8, 2024, Mehrshad Almasi, a 20-year-old son of Touraj, from Mahmoudabad village and a resident of the Anahita neighborhood in Kermanshah, was killed by direct police gunfire.
According to received reports, Mehrshad Almasi, while riding a motorcycle near Tagh Bostan Square, was chased by a police patrol car. Out of fear that his motorcycle would be confiscated, he tried to escape but was shot and killed by the police.
The report also states that in the days following the incident, Mehrshad’s family was threatened by security agencies via phone calls, warning them not to speak out about the killing of their son. On Thursday, October 10, 2024, Mehrshad Almasi’s body was handed over to his family by the Kermanshah forensic authorities, and his burial took place in his hometown, Mahmoudabad village, located in the Miandarband area.
