Bukan / Death of a 5-Year-Old Child in a Brick Kiln Machine

According to colleagues from the Hana Human Rights Organization, on the morning of Wednesday, August 14, 2024, a 5-year-old child identified as "Siwan Khalandi," son of Khalagh and Masoumeh and a resident of the village of "Sheikhler" in the Bukan district, died due to negligence and carelessness. The child fell under a forklift in a brick kiln in Sarouqamish and lost his life.
It is worth noting that the family of the 5-year-old boy was working as laborers at that brick kiln.
