Mr. Mouloudi was arrested on April 16, 2023, in Bukan by security forces without a judicial warrant. He was transferred to one of Orumieyh’s security detention centers for interrogation and then moved to the city's prison after the interrogation was completed.  

It is noteworthy that his request for temporary leave to attend his mother's funeral and burial was previously denied by Orumieyh prison authorities.

During his detention, Jalil Mouloudi was denied access to a lawyer and visits with his family.
