Arrest of Two Kurdish Citizens by Security Forces in Mahabad

According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, early this morning, Thursday, July 11, 2024, a citizen identified as "Ali Danish" from Mahabad was arrested by security forces at his personal residence without presenting any judicial documents.
Additionally, on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, another citizen identified as "Suleiman Mahmoudi" from Mahabad was arrested by security forces at the "Kaleki Begzadan" checkpoint in Mahabad while returning from Bukan.
As of the moment this news was published, no information is available regarding the reasons for the arrests or the whereabouts of these two citizens.
