Arrest of a Kurdish Civil Activist from Divandareh by Security Forces

Colleagues from the Hana Human Rights Organization in Divandareh reported the arrest of a Kurdish citizen from the city by IRGC intelligence forces.
According to the report, early this morning, Sunday, September 8, 2024, a 37-year-old Kurdish civil activist identified as "Foad Moradi" from the village of "Kilekabud," a suburb of Divandareh, was arrested by IRGC intelligence forces.
According to an informed source, the IRGC intelligence forces raided Mr. Moradi's family home without presenting legal documents, searched the house, and then arrested him, transferring him to an unknown location.
As of the time of publishing this news, no information is available regarding the reason for the arrest, the charges against this civil activist, or his place of detention.
