Marivan: Two Kolbars Killed and Injured by Military Forces' Shooting

According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Thursday evening, June 20, 2024, at least two KOlbars were killed and injured following a shooting by military forces towards a group of Kolbars in the Teteh Hawraman border heights.
The identities of the two Kolbars have been confirmed by the Hana Human Rights Organization as Erkan Balawaseh from the village of Jalileh and Dana (last name unknown) from the village of Geliyeh, both from the Marivan region.
According to an informed source, Erkan Balawaseh was severely injured by the shooting and died while being transferred to a hospital near the city of Kani Dinar. Dana was also severely injured and has been taken to medical centers in Marivan for treatment.
