Arrest of Two Yarsan Brothers by Security Forces in Kermanshah

According to Hana's colleagues, on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, two brothers who follow the Yarsan faith, named "Pouria Manti Manjegh Tapeh," married and a father of one child, and "Shuja Manti Manjegh Tapeh," married and from Sahneh, were arrested by security forces after their daily check-in at the Cheshmeh Sefid prison in Kermanshah. They were subsequently transferred to the Intelligence Department detention center located in the Naft Square of this city.
According to received reports, these two brothers were initially arrested in November 2022 for participating in the 21st anniversary ceremony of the death of "Seyyed Khalil Alinejad," a prominent figure of the Yarsan faith. They were then sentenced by the Second Branch of the Kermanshah Criminal Court on charges of "disrupting public order" to one year of imprisonment and 74 lashes.
