Arrest of a Female Citizen by Security Agencies in Bukan

According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on the evening of Thursday, May 30, 2024, a Kurdish female citizen identified as "Afsaneh Shahi" from Bukan was arrested by security agencies.
Afsaneh Shahi, 32 years old, is a mountaineer and a resident of Bukan.
According to an informed source, Ms. Shahi's arrest took place at her family home without any judicial documents, accompanied by violence and brandishing of weapons by the security agencies.
At the time of this news release, no information is available about the charges against this citizen or her whereabouts.
