Jina/Mahsa Amini and Woman, Life, Freedom won the Sakharov Award

Hana Human Rights Organization:On Thursday, October 19, 2023, the European Union Parliament awarded the Sakharov Human Rights Prize to Jina-Mahsa Amini and the Women, Life, Freedom movement in Iran.
The official award ceremony will be held on December 13, 2023 at the European Union Parliament in Strasbourg, France.
The annual Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought has been awarded since 1988 to individuals and organizations that defend human rights and fundamental freedoms.
