Soil is part of the earth's surface, which includes rocks that have been disintegrated by the chemical and physical activities of the environment; Minerals and organic materials, which provide the basis for the growth of plants. It takes hundreds to thousands of years to form a centimeter of soil. In addition to chemical factors, environmental factors such as wind, water and the pressures of the upper layers of the earth are involved in the formation of soil. .

In general, the soil is the location and source of water and food supply for plants. In addition, part of the oxygen necessary for the plant reaches the plant through the pores of the soil. And the waste carbon dioxide gas is removed from it through these holes.
In a word, soil is the source of life after water, and the ecosystem determines nature and life in certain periods of time. Every region has soils for growing plants and trees according to weather and seasonal conditions. The Zagros region, which has a four-season climate and good soil, can produce the best agriculture and products from it, and these conditions cause more demand from customers in the Persian Gulf and Arab countries to buy soil from the Islamic Republic. Although this sale is called soil Mining is carried out, but the officials of the Islamic Republic regime smuggle high-quality soil from the Zagros region to the Persian Gulf countries.

The destination of Iranian soil
According to statistics and experts' opinions, the Arab countries along the Persian Gulf, including the UAE and Qatar, are the final destination of Iran's soil. Currently, countries such as the UAE and Qatar do not have soil. The soil on the coasts of these countries is sand and limestone, which is not suitable for vegetation. On the other hand, UAE needs Iranian soil to build artificial islands and Qatar needs Iranian soil to dry the sea and recycle its coastal lands. Soil smuggling is not only related to the Persian Gulf countries, Iran's fertile agricultural soils have been smuggled out of the country for many years under the pretext of exporting flowers and plants. Apart from the problem of soil smuggling, we are now facing a problem called the raw sale of industrial soils. These soils are mined and often sold directly or as mineral tailings. These soils are widely used for the production of iron and copper, and there are many rare elements in these soils.

For several years, the issue of soil smuggling has been raised by some MPs, and this issue has been in the media many times before.
The Agricultural Research Organization is one of the important subdivisions of the Ministries of Agricultural Jihad in Iran.
The news of soil smuggling is always denied by competent institutions. The guardian of natural resource soil protection is the organization of forests and pastures, and until today this institution has not submitted a report in this regard.
Since the Persian Gulf countries do not have good soil for agriculture, they are among the buyers of Iranian soil. Construction companies in the Persian Gulf countries use Iranian soil for drying beaches and construction, and this request has created a billion-dollar opportunity for profit seekers of the Islamic Republic.

Why soil smuggling?
Soil is one of the raw materials that are exported by traders under the supervision of the Ministry of Industry and Mines, but those types of soil that are related to agricultural and pasture soils have taken millions of years to be created and provide our food security, and the sale of this soil is definitely it is forbidden. On the other hand, some traders go for agricultural soils instead of mineral soil; Because it is easier to extract agricultural soil, but mineral soil requires blasting and mining operations. According to the information published by the Environmental Organization on its information base, the export price of soil is up to 10 dollars per ton, and the exporter may say in the customs claim that he is exporting mineral soil, but it is agricultural soil.

Although this is the first time in recent years that Iran's government officials have openly admitted to smuggling Iran's fertile soil out of the country, several reports on social networks in recent years had sounded the alarm about smuggling on a large scale.
In the past, images of digging and collecting Iranian agricultural soil for smuggling were widely circulated on social networks.
However, officials have dismissed past reports as "fake news" and completely baseless.
Following the controversy, other reports surfaced on social media claiming that to hide the smuggling of fertile soil, it was being sold in flower pots to the UAE and other Arab countries south of the Persian Gulf, which were registered as "flower exports".

If we want to draw a conclusion, we must be aware that the Islamic Republic is trying to convert all the assets and wealth of Iran into dollars.
