"Khabat Shakiba" was sentenced to 2 years in prison

According to the reports of an informed source to HANA human rights organization: "Khabat Shakiba", a 34-year-old social and environmental activist living in Sanandaj, was sentenced to 2 years in prison.
In the verdict issued, the aforementioned charge of membership and propaganda in favor of Kurdish Political parties was included, and after protesting this sentence in the appeals court, it was changed to 2 years of suspended prison for 30 months.
Khabat Shakiba was arrested by the government forces on January 29, 2022, and was temporarily released from Sanandaj Central Prison on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, with a heavy bail of 150 million tomans.
