Statistics of human rights situation in April 2023, in Kurdistan of Iran

Hana: Hana Human Rights Organization Statistics Center publishes its statistical report on the human rights situation and violation of fundamental rights of Kurdish citizens in April 2023 in Iranian Kurdistan. Due to the lack of free access to news and events inside the country, this statistic cannot include all cases of violations of citizens' rights, but all the efforts of the colleagues of the Hana Human Rights Organization are in this direction, to be extremely careful in entering the news and verifying the published cases.
Based on the statistics registered in the statistical center of Hana Human Rights Organization, in April 2023, at least 24 Kurdish citizens were arrested, 4 Kulbar (piggyback) were killed, 3 workers had an accident and died while working, and 10 labor activists were summoned. At least 6 people committed suicide, 3 people were injured due to mine explosion, 4 men and women were killed and a child died due to chemical attack.
Arrests:
In April 2023, at least 24 Kurdish citizens were arrested by the security institutions of the Islamic Republic of Iran arbitrarily and without any arrest warrant issued by the court.
The identity of all these people has been verified by Hana Human Rights Organization, and most of them have been arrested on charges of political activities, participation in demonstrations, cooperation with Kurdish opposition parties of the Islamic Republic, and civil activities. According to these statistics, 4 of the arrested were clerics of Kurdistan.
Children:
In April 2023, a 10-year-old child died as a result of a chemical attack on one of Tehran's schools in March, after being hospitalized for a month.
Kulbar (piggyback):
Based on Hana's statistics, in April 2023, 4 Kulbar were killed. One of those killed was killed by direct fire from the government forces, one died as a result of a traffic accident, and 2 died as a result of drowning in the Abbas Abad dam.
Women:
In April 2023, 3 women were killed by their husbands and close family members for reasons of honor.
Suicide:
Based on the statistics recorded in the Hana statistics center, 6 people committed suicide in the cities and villages of Kurdistan in April. Three of these people were male and 3 were female. These suicides were for unknown reasons.
Workers:
Based on the statistics recorded in the Hana statistics center in April, 3 workers died due to work accidents, and 10 labor activists were summoned to the Intelligent Office one day before the first day of May or International Labor Day.
Mine:
And finally, in these three months, 3 people were injured due to the explosion of a mine planted by the government forces in the border areas of Kurdistan, one of these three people suffered a limb violation.
