Bazargan Customs; Extradition of 26 Iranian citizens from Turkey

According to the reports received by Hana Human Rights Organization; On Monday, March 20, 2023, at least 26 citizens imprisoned in Turkish prisons were returned to Iran from Bazargan Customs.
This informed source added that these people, which include 23 men and 3 women, were handed over to the security institutions in accordance with the agreements between Iran and Turkey at the border of Bazargan and were transferred to Mako prison and IRGC security detention centers to serve the rest of their sentences.
Until the moment of publication of this news, the identity of this citizen has not been verified by Hana Human Rights Organization.
