Security agencies threaten Peshmerga families of Kurdistan parties

According to the reports received by Hana Human Rights Organization, in recent days, the intelligence and security institutions of the Islamic Republic have put pressure on the Peshmerga families of Kurdish political parties.

According to this report, the security agencies of the Islamic Republic of Iran summoned a significant number of Peshmerga families of political parties in various cities and regions of Kurdistan and while threatening them, they pressured them to ask their children to leave the ranks of the Kurdistan parties and stop fighting against the Islamic Republic.
It is worth mentioning: The Islamic Republic had done similar things in the past years and in order to force the Kurdistan movement to surrender, it exiled a large number of Peshmerga families and in some cases confiscated the properties of many of these families.
According to articles 3, 5, 9 and 19 of the International Covenant on Human Rights, these cases are considered gross violations of human rights and citizenship rights.
Article #3: Every person deserves and has the right to life, liberty and personal security
Article #5:
No one should be subjected to torture or cruelty or abuse, or subjected to inhumane punishment or behavior that leads to the degradation of his human status.
Article #9:
No one shall be subject to arbitrary detention, imprisonment or deportation.
