Sanandaj / Detention of a civil activist by security agencies

Hana Human Rights Organization: On Thursday (June, 9, 2022), A civil and environmental activist named "Shapoor Moradi" was arrested by security forces for unknown reasons and transferred to an unknown location.
According to Hana's colleagues, he was detained at the time of his arrest without a court order, and no information is currently available on the reason and location of his detention.
Shapoor Moradi, the son of Abu Bakr, from the village of Tangisar in the Sanandaj district, is married and has three kids.
Mr. Moradi was imprisoned for one year fifteen years ago on charges of collaborating with the Kurdistan Workers' Party.
