The correspondent of the Hana Human Rights Organization in the city of Ashnaoiyeh sent this video to report the deracination of trees around the Gadar River in the shadow of the silence of environmental officials.
He also said: "Considering that the right to the environment and the right to life are basic human rights, but the lack of proper monitoring and silence against the destruction of the environment in Kurdistan, has made the forests of Zagros a safe place for environmental destroyers."
