Torture of Iskander Lotfi and Massoud Nikkhah by IRGC intelligence

According to a report received from colleagues of the Hana Human Rights Organization, Eskandar Lotfi and Massoud Nikkhah, members of the board of directors of the Teachers' Union in the IRGC Intelligence Detention Center in Sanandaj, are being severely tortured for forced confession.
Massoud Nikkhah and Eskandar Lotfi were also beaten during their detention and taken to the Marivan IRGC intelligence detention center in handcuffs and chains. They were constantly tortured to make a forced confession, but they stated that their activities were purely trade union and that no other charges were admissible.
Another reliable source reported in an interview with Hana; In previous detentions, the IRGC wanted to force teachers to admit that the teachers' union was affiliated with political parties and movements, but none of the teachers were willing to do so.
