The workers participating in the rally are protesting against the increase in insurance premiums and the non-increase of salaries and benefits in the current time when inflation is increasing day by day, and they want the authorities to take care of their problems.

 In the text of this news, we refer to Articles .23,24 and 25 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which Iran is also obliged to implement due to its signing;

 Article 23: Every human being has the right to work and to free choice of employment, to just and favorable conditions of work and to protection against unemployment.  Every human being deserves to receive equal pay for equal work without any discrimination.  Everyone who works deserves to receive a just and favorable reward for the protection of himself and his family.  Everyone has the right to form and to join trade unions for the protection of his interests.

 Article 24: Every human being deserves rest and leisure, limited and acceptable time for work and paid leave.

 Article 25: Every human being deserves a life with acceptable standards for the health and well-being of himself and his family, including the provision of food, clothing, housing, medical care and social services, and also has the right to work in times of unemployment, illness, disability،disability, widowhood, old age and lack of livelihood resources, to benefit from social security under any circumstances beyond his / her control.  Motherhood and childhood deserve special attention and care.  All children, whether born in wedlock or out of wedlock, should enjoy the same social protection.
