Erbil / "Jakan Baran" strike in protest of UN failure to address the demands of Iranian Kurdistan asylum seekers

Hana: On Sunday, May 30,2021, the Kurdish poet from Iranian Kurdistan, Jakan Baran, announced a dry mourning strike by sewing his lips in protest of the UN mission's failure to address the demands of asylum seekers and refugees in Iraqi Kurdistan. .
The Kurdish poet announced that he would not break the strike until the demands of asylum seekers and refugees are met.
