'Hiwa Azizpour' arrested to serve prison time

Hana; On Saturday (October 23, 2021), Hiva Azizpour, a Kurdish citizen from the village of Deoznav, in the Sarvabad district, was arrested to serve his sentence and sent to the Marivan Central Prison.
He was arrested on November 10, last year and subsequently sentenced to five months in prison by the Revolutionary Court of Marivan on charges of political activity through Kurdish parties opposed to the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Allowing free political activity and membership in political parties is one of the most basic human rights in society, but in Iran it is openly violated by law enforcement and the government.
