Detention of dozens of Kurdish citizens by security agencies

Hana; Dozens of Kurdish citizens have reportedly been arrested in Tehran and the cities of Baneh, Sanandaj, Saqez, Sardasht and Bukan in recent days.

 

According to reports, 17 Kurdish citizens were detained by the Ministry of Intelligence in the town of Baneh without a court order; «Salah Pezeshki, Rafiq Pezeshki, Manaf Pezeshki, Shorsh Pezeshki, Behzad Pezeshki, Karim Pezeshki, Haj Abu Bakr Pezeshki, Loghman Pezeshki, Farhad Pezeshki, Farzad Pezeshki, Ahmad Pezeshki, Shokrallah Pezeshki, Saeed Ghaderi, Ebrahim Ghaderi, Saeed Rashidi, Jamal Morouti, and Osman Mohammadpour».
also; On Thursday, November 11, 2021, a former political prisoner from Bukan and a resident of Tehran named Omar Sharifi Bukani was arrested by the intelligence forces. In Saqez, two Kurdish citizens identified as Abdullah Mahjoo and Abdullah Mahjoor were arrested by the Saqez city intelligence forces and transferred to an unknown location. In recent days, another citizen with the identity of  "Farhan Karami" 23-year-old from Sarpol-e Zahab and a resident of "Tehran" have also been arrested by security forces.

On Sunday, November 7, 2021, the forces of the Sanandaj Intelligence Service raided the house of "Iraj Ebadi", a cultural and literary activist, without issuing a judicial permit, and searched the house and arrested him, and he was released on November 11, 2021.
